Muriel Grossmann. Nacida en París, Grossmann comenzó su formación instrumental
en Viena y en la actualidad combina el sonido evocador de su voz con el
saxofón; donde ella sube al escenario su música seduce.
Muriel Grossmann Quartet ofrece la mezcla irresistible de clásicos del
Jazz de todos los tiempos, Latín y Bossa novas y Rn&B con el objetivo de

La
saxofonista alto y soprano y vocalista Muriel Grossmann, de origen austriaca,
canta y toca con vigor y singularidad, que se basa en una amplia paleta de
estilos. Radomir Milojkovic en la guitarra, Chema Pellico en el contrabajo y
Dani Marín en la batería, acompañan con una sensibilidad sofisticada y alto
nivel de realización. El resultado es un acoplamiento cálido de un cuarteto
abundante y relajado.
Biografía
Muriel Grossmann nació en
París, se crió en Viena, donde inició estudios clásicos de flauta a la edad de
cinco hasta los dieciocho años, cuando ella pasó a saxo alto y soprano para
estudios posteriores.
En los años 90 Muriel Grossmann ha tocado y realizado giras con
distintos grupos de Rhythm & Blues, Funk y de Jazz. 2002 se trasladó a
Barcelona donde empezó a dirigir sus propias bandas para grabaciones y
conciertos. Muriel Grossmann es residente en Ibiza desde el año 2004, que marca
un período muy productivo de grabaciones y actuaciones.
Muriel Grossmann ha tocado y grabado con Joachim Kühn, Wolfgang
Reisinger, Rolf Kühn, Christian Lillinger, Johannes Fink, Robert Landfermann
entre otras. Grossmann actúo en España, Austria, Alemania, Holanda, Irlanda,
Grecia, Inglaterra, Marruecos, Sudáfrica, Polonia, Eslovenia, Italia,
realizando más de 150 conciertos al año.
Muriel Grossmann actualmente está actuando y grabando con el cuarteto
compuesto por Radomir Milojkovic (Ex Yugoslavia) en la guitarra, Robert
Landfermann (Colonia) en el contrabajo y Christian Lillinger (Berlín) en la
batería.

In the 90 Muriel Grossmann has performed and toured with different groups of Rhythm & Blues, Funk and Jazz. In 2002 she moved to Barcelona where she began leading her own bands for recordings and concerts. Muriel Grossmann is resident in Ibiza since 2004, which marks a very productive period recordings and performances.
